Le rendu contrasté et dur renforce le coté austère des lieus que la touche de rose du petit vélo vient égayer. La petite fille semble bien concentrée sur son geste, elle part à l'aventure, à ce moment le monde qui l'entoure n'a plus beaucoup d'importance...
